Hotels/Guesthouses/Overnight Stay In Banchang.

Featured Replies

Hi - anyone have any suggestions for somewhere to stay for a night or two? Anywhere between 300 - 1000baht per night.

Cheers :)

I have stayed a few nights at various times at the one just down from Tesco, on the Highway. Can't think of the name of it tho. It's OK , big rooms ,old, but cleanish , about 400 baht when we stayed. They don't have a website or one in English as far as i know.

Ban Chang Palace Hotel - its has seen better days but it is quite good value at 600 / 700 Baht per night. They have their own web site too.

Guys who stay in Ban Chang tell me the Palace is a dump, they stay at one just behind the strip. Don't know the name though.

I would strongly suggest you stay out of the Ban Chang Palace.....rat hole

On the road behind the strip, small hotel which I think is called the Chang Inn or similar.....had buddies of mine stay there said it was ok for THB 800/night (clean etc).

If you want to spend a bit more either The Garden Hotel or Purimas Hotel

The Camel on "the Strip" has rooms at c.600baht/night including an English/American breakfast. Clean rooms with aircon & telly, food very good. A mate of mine stayed there a few months back, said it was fine.
