I think everyone knowes who Amanda Knox is and what she did / didnt do...

the verdict is due out today, do you think they will find her guilty or not guilty? and with the verdicts, what will the outcome of her life be?

IMHO , i think they will find her Not Guilty, as the whole police case ect is something that makes the BIB look like pro's in criminal investigations...

should she be found not guitly, they where saying on the news she has a private jet watitng plus a million USD interview on standby... plus a movie, book .... basically she will be worth 10 million USD plus just on release , with alot more money due to come in

People have said this is wrong, as she should not profit from a crime, even if it wasnt her that commitited it, but if you are incocent and lost 4 years of your life, can it be justified?

Phew...well a lot of questions...I just hope the decision is the right one.

Personally, I think she is guilty. That's not based on having followed the case closely; it's just a gut feeling.

Hopefully, the jury will base their decision on facts.

I agree. The evidence against her is pretty flimsy.

Not long before this case appeared, the Italian gov't wanted the US gov't to turn over some CIA agents and the US denied the request. So a conspiracy nut might think that the Italians let this shit happen to Amanda as either payback or leverage against the US govt.

Anyway, NO, you should not be able to commit a crime then profit from it. But IF she is found not guilty then there is no reason why she couldn't get $$ from a book, movies or interviews. Afterall, it cost her years of her life and there will still be many people out there who think she is a murdered.

it was the correct verdict in my mind, jezz , they even had the person serving a 30 year sentance, reduced to 16 years, for killing her, whom also admitted amanda wasnt there... yes you have the cart wheels ect at the police station, turned of cells phones, but that doesnt mean you killed someone....

glad justice has been served

the police did fuc_k up big time here, plus the dna evidence, IE not using twezzers, handling objects with the same clothes , using plastic bags instead of paper bags

She has likely left Italy by now...never to return. As for Aldhouse well he will never face a court as you well know...the European court will not permit it.

i was a bit surpirised to see her leave prison in a merc, s500 i beleive, with black out back passenger windows and a driver.... possibily an embassey car?

you are right those smokey, she is out or will be in the next 15 mins or so, they said her passport had expired, but i am sure she was given an emergency passport by the embassey who was working overtime on this one....

but again, i still think she is innocent, but there is round 2 with the interviews and the guy convicted of killing her making an appeal

Like smokie said... not do it again. From what I've read she was living fast and loose with weird characters. That will always come home to sting you eventually... even if you initially are not to blame. I've seen it happen many times within the drug scene in Canada. Some gals like the excitement even if they are not actually involved, and eventually they wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just recently a young woman in the same car as a known gang leader got shot and paralyzed in a turf war. The gang leader was killed and nobody to date has been accused or caught. There is only speculation who did it.
