Laem Chabang, Green Valley Rayong, Bangphra, Eastern Star, Khao Kheow.

I like the layouts of these clubs but have not played them in awhile. Cannot attest as to their conditions at present.

I reckon Burapha, Phoenix, and Laem Chabang are up there with the best.

Laem Chabang always presents a nice golf course in good condition, minus slow greens from time to time. Certainly the best overall golf experiences in the area after Plantation and Old Course at Siam. The only downside is the buffet breakfast/lunch they sometimes serve (which is sad because they serve mean Thai food in the afternoon!!).

Burapha is a two egged sword, be careful when you book one of the two courses - one of them is well below average, if I'm not incorrect it's the East course. Stay away from that one is my advice.

Phunaka golf course in Chalong, this course is never busy(it's a tough short 9 hole course, many balls are lost, no problems with Koreans, Japanese, Russians etc, no silly signs, no duel pricing and every one is very friendly, green fee is very reasonable considering the extremely high green fee's on this Island, I have read many posts from other golfers regarding rude Koreans/Russians and Japanese their is nothing like this at my local club!!
