Any idea when the parking fees will be reinstated ?

The day before you need to use the carpark:-)

Anyone have a recent carpark update? I have a trip on Wednesday and was wondering whether there will be any parking in short term. I don't care if they charge - I just want a place to park my car instead of taking a taxi!

It will probably depend on the time you arrive at the car park.

I arrived early morning an found a good spot but departing at around lunch time last Saturday the car park was mobbed.

They are charging again.

was there 28th Dec i went straight to level 1 and parked for free, were a few empty spaces. Multi storey looked full. was 3pm, its a left turn before going to the multi storey. in the height of the floods i got in there the same.

Thanks for the replies, guys...looks like I'll be taking a taxi again rather than risk not having a place to park.

I don't get it...they are charging again and the floods are gone, but the carpark is still at capacity.

Take your car. There's loads of spaces.

I parked there on the 30th and came out on the 2nd. Car park was busy but could park on 6th floor quite easily. They gave me a ticket going in with date and time on it.

Coming out was a nightmare. Took me 45 minutes to get to the exit. Only two out of three booths were manned. When I eventually got there and gave my ticket in with 1000 baht ready in my hand, he waved me through and said, "free". Not sure why.
