Excellent Service From Samsung

Featured Replies

Most of us are quick to complain about poor service. I would like to say well done to the service people working for Samsong in Nathon for doing a very good job. Took the TV in there last week. The girl explained that it was out of warrenty, and they would look at the problem. They would then advise me as to how much the repair would cost so that I could decide yes or no. This she duly did 2 days later. She told me the cost and asked if I wanted them to fix it. I said yes. She then called me 3 days after to say that the TV had been fixed and was ready for collecting. When I collected the TV - they showed it working to prove that it was fixed (and yes, they gave me the broken bits that they had replaced. Well done - excellent job.

There are actually a number of shops that provide excellent and honest service around...

Some I will add:

Castrol Shop in Maenam, for motor bike repair, manager / owner there name is JJ...

Honda Shop in Maenam...very good too...

LG shop in Ban Por good.

Siresin Shop.... Boupout

Home Mart Maenam

The computer parts shop, just past Tesco, in Nanthon, always helpful.

Several more but not coming to mind.... B)

The power on switch on my T V has blown twice with power surges,

I used the Panasonic shop opposite Tesco, good service quick and only about 900 baht for a new switch.

Yes that's another good shop... and Safety Mind next door...(same family I think)

You might want to consider a good quality surge protector power bar or even UPS... I use a voltage regulator on my telly and stereo....

All grounded, and of course UPS for computers.

I have had several Samsung products: TV, washer, refrigerator, MP3 player, telephone. I'm done. The problem with Samsung is that everything they ever make NEEDS service about two months after the one-year warranty runs out. They have great designs, shit under the skin. I'm done with Samsung forever!

I'm with Tongue Thiaed on this.

Especially TV's, always breaking down. The reason the repair shop is good is because they get lots of practice..

Is the LG place still there - and where is it exactly please?

Every time I take an LG TV to the panasonic place it is more than 4,000 baht and two weeks for parts.

OMG ! w00t.gif we are going back a couple of years here, but if memory serves this might have been for fridges and not Tellies!

But if I remember it's on the right side toward Nathon, somewhere around the 7-11 which is on the left side...*water side") blink.png

I have not needed to get a TV fixed yet....

Perhaps stop in at Sirisen and see who they suggest.....(not sure but perhaps they do it too?) ...... they are generally quite helpful. thumbsup.gif

Thank you Rooo - always the star thumbsup.gif

Note 2 lost signal. Rooted which could void warranty.

Returned it in original box after software restored, no receipt.

New mainboard and returned a few days later, no charge.

Great service.

Could have refused repairs on numerous counts but didnt.

latter sounds best option, took me 6 months to figure out how to work the Samsung and the service shops are everywhere and good. Maybe go Thai style and "loose" the i phone and buy a Samsung with some of the proceeds.
