MoonRiverOasis
OK, this isn't strictly Thailand related, but it's pretty cool if you're into classic cars: Story: http://www.worldcarf...fered-as-a-body
ExpatDave
I saw that when it came out. I am seriously considering doing that. I had a 65 Mustang all through High School and College. I loved that car!

transam
More off topic, did you know Chrysler (Mopar) still produce the fabulous 426 ci (7ltr) Hemi engine sent in a box. Got to hand it to the yanks, they do take care of their own motor heads.

GM now have a DIY engine option too, where you just get the parts and have to assemble it yourself. Kinda like Lego, only the end result is more practical And yes, you do have to give it to Americans when it comes to this stuff. If only Ferrari would release the Dino as a genuine kit car Edited November 2, 2011 by MoonRiverOasis
bdenner
Very much like the Harley Davison adds in Australia a few years back someone has come up with another way to "spent the kids inheritance" I would love to get my hands on an original mussel car of any sorts to appease my mid life crisis, but alas it's not very practical here in the rice paddies of Thailand. If only Ferrari would release the Dino as a genuine kit car The difference with the 426 hemi is that it hasn't been put in a production ride for 40 years , where as GM & Ford V8 stuff is still used today, though a little altered.
