KKvampire Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Someone have a Gillette fusion blade to spare Im desperate until I get some sent from overseas
jonnyscot Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Hi,, I had the same problem last year,,,, couldn't find anywhere that stocked them,, threw away the razor and a couple of weeks after I dumped it I saw the spare blades whilst we were in Pattaya shopping one day,,, can't remember where for sure but it may have been in the Friendship Supermarket,, either there or Topps,,, as I say, that was late last year so maybe they don't stock them anymore..

billd766 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I just sent you a PM. Sorry for the delay but the power just came back 15 minutes ago after going down at 9am for maintenance.
Ulysses G. Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Why not just buy a cheap Gillette double edge razor to get you over? I've never moved on from that style of blade, so do not know what I'm missing - and don't care.
cardholder Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Watsons have got a cracking triple blade (I think - may be quad) razor. It is obviously Gillette and is the best wet shave I have had for a long time. lasts for ages as well.

gosompoi Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I have Gillette Power Fusion blades, I can spare one. All I ask is when you travel aboard and get more that you send me a replacement back to me in the future.
KKvampire Posted November 12, 2011 Author Posted November 12, 2011 many thanks for advice and offers , Billd766 has kindly posted me some.
dominique355 Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 When I saw this post, I was hoping someone knows where to buy them in Thailand. Sadly, no. I use them too and always have to ask my friends who travel abroad to bring my a supply. Easy to get them in Singapore and of course Europe. I guess Thai men don't shave that often ...
Jingthing Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 There is definitely a market for blades in Thailand but for some unknown bean counter reason from Gillette they decided long ago to not sell their Fusion line in Thailand.
GrahamF Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 FYI, I picked up a bunch of fusion blades at the duty free in Incheon, at a great price. It might be worth taking a look if one is travelling internationally in the future.
angiud Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 I get mine cheap from trusty a Ebay seller (arrived by post in one week from USA) Cheaper than Europe
angiud Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 most of the ones on Ebay are fakes I don't know if real or fake, but what I got from ebay working just fine, same way of those I got from Italy in the past. Maybe just lucky chamai?

Jingthing Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Ebay ones may not be fake, but many are hot.
ShopBoy Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Ebay ones may not be fake, but many are hot. I have seen the ones from China side by side with the originals can't tell the difference @ fraction of the price.

Probably Yes but didn't test the Fusion tested on the M3 can't tell any difference. The Chinese really replicate the same thing with the same material. The original manufactures just WoW you with their advert and you pay for their R&D as well that's why so much of a huge price difference.
KKvampire Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 The fusion has 5 blades and is hugely closer(smoother shave).far better than the mach 3 I used to use. With regard to the fakes , Chinese or anywhere else , they are inferior , they are cheap because they dont use the material Gillette use , such as the quality of the metal used for the blades, pure and simple. And as someone who used a fake Fusion IMO. it barely last 2 shaves and then scrapes the skin badly leaving a red rash.
BEENTHEREDONETHAT Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 you can get them from Amazon Gillette Fusion Manual Cartridges by Gillette List Price: $64.93 Price: $36.99 ($3.08 / count) & this item ships for FREE

I'm using the first one since November and still fairly sharp and soft, so my cheeks are leather or the blades are original.

dougtr Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 This is a real blade with a seral number on it. This is the bottom portion of the blade on the blue part, not the grey where the handle attaches. Fakes will not have a serial number printed on them. This is a laser etching number so look for it in good light to see it. I sell these in the states and I am coming to Pattaya on the 19th of Jan - Feb 15th. 14 Blades for 1000 baht, I have handles also for $4 more (with an additional blade). I have fusion proglide power, and regular ones too, I suggest the proglide power.
thehelmsman Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Recommend you switch over to tweezers. Seems to work well for the Thai men.
