I was thinking of going there tonight or tomorrow with a Thai friend (from Bangkok) - not a bar girl but she's OK with going to bars and likes music. Just wondering what the music and ambience is like...?

a guy handed me a flier yesterday evening and said it was blues night last night. i cant remember what all teh other nights were listed, but there was a different theme of music on every night. will definately get down there next week to check it out. hopefully the beer is not too expensive?

I went last Friday, really cool place, I will be going regularly now! Nice friendly feel, cold beer didnt eat but I am told that the food is good too!

Just because it might elicit a different type of answer. I ws basically wondering if a 'nice girl' from Bangkok would fit in there for an evening. If it was a bar girl it wouldn't matter so much to me, because in my experiences they tend to follow the guy that's paying their way so doesn't really matter so much if they would enjoy the music or not.
