Scg Smart Board

Featured Replies

We had a bunch of SCGSmart Board delivered, it is for external use under the eves, fake wood grain with ventilation slits.

It is 4mm thick 60 X 120cm.

I am trying to find out or confirm it is asbestos free, there are some folks on here that are really up to speed on Thai building products, just trying to rack your brains !!

I pulled this off the net in English, it doesn't say much, except it is not in their safety products list. It even indicates that if you want a quality life and have a tendacy to care more for safety, then use their other products, does it not?

Mr Panthep Supachayakit, Managing director said “The growth was attributed to the fact that all Elephant Brand products--roofs, boards and synthetic woods-- are all non-asbestos products, therefore well received by consumers who have tendency to care more for safety and quality of life. Moreover, SmartWood Brand and SmartBoard Brand began to be more familiar to the market and has been increasingly accepted as demand for wood-substituted products has been increasing because of the scarcity and high price of natural woods,”

It's non-abestos board but cutting it, drilling it, cement dust !! wear a mask.:)

SmartBOARD is a non-asbestos product.

General Remarks to Fiber Cement Board Use:

• Some caution must be exercised to properly ventilate areas where fiber cement board is being cut; long-term

exposure to the silica dust generated during the installation process can cause silicosis

long-term exposure to the silica dust generated during the installation process can cause silicosis

And people cutting it not wearing a mask silibuggers. :D
