ThaiBruce Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 There a Reuters job ad stating: "Applicants must be legally able to work in Thailand without the company having to provide a work permit." 1. What does that mean? 2. How can I get a work permit without having the company involved? (My understanding is that the company has to apply for my work permit) Can anybody help me? Thanks, Bruce

Thanks, Bruce <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This seems like a politically correct way to say: "Applicants must be Thai!" Alternatively, if you have your own company (and a WP from that company), your company can take the job as a contractor, if this acceptable by the employer.
kerr17 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 any other way to get a work permit wthout holding a company and been employed? I been asked by many companies if I had a work permit so I was thinkin to do it myself if possible so it will help me to find a job.
