Seems like you are quite happy with Bambina's suggestion,

Just to give you my own personal opinion, i also started yoga by buying a VCD and began at home, it can be a bit embarrising sometimes in a big class if you are really stiff, anyway give that a go aswell, A VCD doesnt cost much, you can pick one upat just about any bookstore, you may find you are sometimes too busy & doing yoga at home could be good sometimes.

Cheers

Yes, I'm happy with the contacts she gave me and now even happier with her new avatar. WOW Bambina!! you recent new avatar was good but this one rocks. LOL. Back to topic, I might pick up a couple of VCD's Thai Help but I think an introduction class to Yoga would start the ball rolling. thanks again.

I don't think that this is the kind of yoga you are looking for, but in my opinion it is the best. it is the "raj" or "King" of all yogas.

This is not "hatha" yoga - the kid most people associate with.

This is a type of yoga which is more than 2000 years old and does not involve any physical moves.

Yoga means "union" and this type of yoga is very powerful!

The website explains a bit - www.bkwso.com

I started this yoga, or meditation about 14 years ago and have been to centres all over the world.

If you got o the website you will find a centre near you. In Thailand there are a few - I've been to the one on Chaeng Wattana and the one on soi On Nut Suk. 77, or maybe it was 71.

They teach "positive thinking" amongst other things. I went to the headquarters in India - Mount Abu and it was awesome. I met the most elevated yogis that I've ever met.

They suggest purity(no sex) and no harmful foods like garlic and onion or especially meat.

I did it for a few years and the change was absolutely amazing!!!!

Great for stress and anxiety related things.

It is a little bit cult like but I'm not saying it is bad. I took what I wanted and left the rest.

Anyone with an open mind should try it out. :o:D:D:D:D:D
