Thai Sim Cards!

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to buy a Sim card in Bangkok Airport?

Yes, at some of the newsagent/convenience stores, for example the one near the "meeting point" near arrival term1. They'll charge you 500Bt for a prepaid Sim-card which sales for 200Bt elsewhere... However, 200Bt call-time recharge cards still only cost 200Bt there. :o

I need to buy 2 as soon as I can,so it looks like I will just have to pay the 500Bt :o

How many minutes will I get with the sims,or will I need to purchase a recharge card as well?

There is at lest one 7/11 retail at the international airport. T2 near the parking areas if I remember correct.. I'm sure they have some sim cards there. Theres another one across the Vipavadhii on the railroad station, easily reached by the bridge from the int. airport.

Looks like th 7/11 will be my best bet then.

Cheers.....
