Getting Form Tm47....

Irrelevant of the sorce of this document, when I go to print it, it comes out on 2 pages. This would be fine if the second page had the "Receipt of Notification" in its entirety on it. But half of it is on the first page. I have tried cut and pasting/resizing/rescaling/ etc etc to no avail. Any suggestions please

Is your printer set to A4 size? If it is set to letter size, which is the default size in a lot of applications, it will use two pages.

Just a guess- might work.

Tried that also bino. As well as trying a screen shot and everything else i could think of. Any other takers

I just downloaded from http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/tm47.doc

and opened in Word 2003 and it printed fine, on one page.

Thanks Lopburi, I was using word pad as I had not re-installed word after a recent format. I'll give that a whirl now

I just tried priniting from this link also- with Word XP, and it printed on one page just fine. (Dontcha just love all the typos??)

My next guess is that the bottom margin that is forced by your printer is greater than the bottom margin of the word document. The top margin of the doc is a lot bigger than the bottom. I've tried to alter the margins, and unfortunately the doc is protected with a password and won't be easy to modify.

Maybe closing up some of the spacing between lines with some combination of screenshots / photoshop will work...........?

Amazing what one forgets is on ones 'puter Hidden away in my D drive was a folder titled "immigration docs pdf". You guessed it....one page print of the form Sorry for the waste of time guys Did learn a thing or two about printing though, so altogether not a bad result. Thanks
