Brand New Chevy Colorado C-Cab At Z71 4X4 Ltz And Its Rough Ride

Featured Replies

Just sold my top of the line Navara LE AT 4x4 c-cab now with 400 km on my 1 week old Chevy...a trip to doi Tao yesterday on paved road - bumpy and rough ride. A little disappointed in how this turned out. Btw my Navara had rancho shock installed. Any unhappy 1 million baht Chevy owner here?

checked tyre pressure? usually leaves showroom with 45psi, should be 28-32, check sticker in door sill for excat recomended tyre pressure

Navara 4 door got softer springs in 2009 as i recall

I had a demo in the garages brand new V-Cross ... was it bouncy! ... got them to check tyre pressures and they were at 45psi. Demo again with pressure set correctly and a different truck ... mine comes Friday ... can' wait.

Yep, has to be the tire pressures - I have test driven the Colorado, and it's much improved over all last-gen trucks for ride quality.

Checked this morning and it was 39 psi. Now down to 35psi seemed to be better.

32 is more like it,but better check the door schedule...it's shows only 28psi for my Honda City...go figure???

...last time I've changed for new wheels for the Audi and asked what psi it should be,they said 32 psi(nitrogen)...got back home and checked my gage..it was 37-37-37-38...hmmm??

Still be a bumpy ride, 30 psi is nearer the mark. jap.gif

That still seems high ... have you looked at the manual ... is it not stamped on a plate on the door post? I'm just going by what the Isuzu V-Cross pressures are.

Plate on door says 35 psi for two and that appears to be lowest number
