Asus Pad Transformer Infinity

Featured Replies

I'm looking to buy a tablet/ultrabook and am reading good things about the Asus Pad Transformer Infinity.

Any idea when it will arrive in Thailand and what the approximate cost might be?

Thailand website Invadeit are already advertising the TFT700T (Infinity) 64GB for THB 22,490 incl. keyboard

I am not sure how? as it was my understanding that the Infinity would not be released until June 2012 (with no confirmed pricing as yet)

They are also advertising the new Asus 32GB TF300TG 3G for THB19,590 and the wifi only version for THB 16,790 (with I believe has now been released as of April 2012)

For the miniscual price difference between the two, I would rather take the up-spec'd TF700 (Infinity) if it is indeed out and readily available.

If you have the TF700T, check for a Firmware update.

JellyBean is here! Takes a while to install, but all hands free.

When buying a tablet and if 2G/3G capability is also required versus just Wifi capability, be sure the tablet has that capability. Like the Infinity tablet at the invadeit link above appears to be a Wifi only model since it does not seem to show any 2G/3G specs. But there are models of the Infinity that also include 2G/3G.
