Yes, posting left wing talking points is lazy, but at least you are quick about it. Pretty much everything you share with us is on Media Matters a few hours before you post it here.

Or the HuffPo too, eh? rolleyes.gif

I know you Romney-heads love Fox!

The president would take 49 percent of the vote compared to Romney's 40 percent in a head-to-head matchup if the election were held today, the poll found. Last month, Obama had a four percentage-point edge of 45 percent to 41 percent. This marks the second time this year the president has had a lead outside the poll’s margin of sampling error.

Obama’s advantage comes largely from increased support among independents, who now pick him over Romney by 11 percentage points. Some 30 percent of independents are undecided. Last month, Obama had a four-point edge among independents, while Romney had the advantage from April through early June.

Romney is getting creamed. It's the tax returns. It's sticking. People know he is hiding something seriously embarrassing. I reckon it's an FBAR amnesty.

Have you noticed that the polls keep going up and down? No one is getting creamed yet, but Obama's lies and the worsening economy will catch up with him before election day.

The republicans deserve to lose all their elections. All they have done in office is obstruct, obstruct, obstruct.

Romney has let Obama define Romney. I know it pains you but IT'S OVER.

One of the worst things to happen this summer is the movie I saw last night - the new Batman flick. It's all about Occupy Wall Street thugs taking over Gotham, executing people who work for a living. If not for that psycho shooting all those people, the film would hit home with the American voter as Obama has aligned himself with the OWS punks. That film shows what could happen if Obama gets his way.

That's hilarious. I watched that movie and just saw a rather boring action movie. Now it's about Obama. Classic.

So now that Romney is losing, does that make him more or less likely to pick a Hail Mary VP pick? In other words, someone not safe.

Speaking of which, the hothead Chris Christie. Is he too darned FAT to be VP?

At least he isn't too darned GAY.

Sorry if that offended you, just following your lead.

Not sure of your point. We know an openly gay person can't be on a presidential ticket as it would be political suicide. Maybe someday. We've had obese presidents before but not in the age of television. I think it's a fair question and I'm sure that's one thing they're considering when thinking about Christie. There are pros and cons. The fat vote is a rich demographic. I think he might actually be a smart pick for now desperate Romney.

BTW, are fat people denied the basic civil right to legally marry? coffee1.gif

Where is the main stream media hiding on this this question?

Was Barack Obama A Foreign Exchange Student?

08/09/2012 06:34 PM ET

Transparency: A former classmate has added a tantalizing question to the mysteries surrounding Barack Obama's college years. Perhaps the GOP nominee, whose tax records are demanded, should call the president's bluff.

Not many students whose grades supposedly were good enough to get into Harvard Law School can say that 400 of their classmates taken randomly don't remember a single thing about him or his even being there. But Barack Obama, Columbia University class of '83, can.

Student Obama spent two years at Columbia after transferring there from Occidental College in Los Angeles. And for all the impression he made on his classmates, he might as well have been in the witness protection program.

The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News called that random group of 400 Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.

Entire article here: http://news.investors.com/article/621683/201208091834/obama-columbia-years-remain-secret.htm?p=full

I know it pains you but IT'S OVER.

Actually, it is just getting started. After Romney officially gets the Republican nomination and can use the funds that he has available, it will be show down time.

BTW, are fat people denied the basic civil right to legally marry?

Only if they are of the same sex . They must be a man and a woman - the way that marriage has always been.

There are a number of countries now, including some US states where same sex marriage is legal. You're on the wrong side of history, dude.

This isn't surprising. Columbia is a big urban school. He transferred in and didn't have a chance to bond with others as a freshman. I had the same kind of experience when transferring in college.

For two years? I'm sure there are students there who remember him, just look for the ones he wrote about hanging out with in his memoirs - the coke heads, Marxists and other radicals.

Krauthammer makes the case against Obama and tells why he can't run on his achievements...

The case against reelection

Obama laid it out boldly in a series of major addresses during the first months of his presidency. The roots of the nation’s crisis, he declared, were systemic. Fundamental change was required. He had come to deliver it. Hence his signature legislation:

First, the
that was going to “reinvest” in America and bring unemployment below 6 percent. We know about the unemployment. And the investment? Obama loves to cite great federal projects such as the
and the interstate highway system. Fine. Name one thing of any note created by Obama’s Niagara of borrowed money. A modernized electric grid? Ports dredged to receive the larger ships soon to traverse a widened Panama Canal? Nothing of the sort. Solyndra, anyone?

I don't find it remarkable at all. If you think you're going to beat Obama on old college gossip when your man has a gaping hole tax return scandal, I almost feel sorry for you.

The tax "scandal" is a phoney one. The terrible economy is real and owned by Obama - whether he likes it or not - and it is only getting worse.

If it's so phony why does Romney refuse to reveal?

Uh oh!

Looks like the economy is getting better!

Bad news for obstructionist republicans (even if its a good idea if Obama is for it, we will kill it, some would call that TREASON) who care much more for their diseased rich people only ideology and care nothing for the American society overall:

After a spring and summer of weak economic indicators, a flurry of fresh data suggest key sectors of the economy might be gaining traction, just as the battle for the White House enters the final round.

The writing is on the wall. Romney is toast. The American people feel that he is a creep. They love Obama. Spend all the money you want. Americans aren't going to elect another creep. We tried Nixon. Enough is enough.

How many times have they tried to make the same pretense over the last 4 years? How many "recovery summers"? Crying wolf one more time is not going to change reality and people are tired of false claims.

“We have had a record-high level of unemployment with rates above 8% for 42 straight months, ticking up to 8.3% just last week,”

"old college gossip"? Uh, there is old gossip because no one remembers seeing him there.

You should feel sorry for me, feel sorry for me and every other American. That we could get duped into electing the people we have the past 20 years is embarrassing. First the snake oil salesman, then the one who comes across like the village idiot (and I like the guy) and finally a freakin' Marxist who is about as un-American as a leader can get. We as a country are on the wrong track like never before. I would say that if Obama is re-elected then I'll leave the country - except that I already have.

Un-American Marxist, yep, that sums it up nicely.

Imho there are several Watergate's in waiting for Obama, if only the MSM would do it's job.

The real scandal is when Romney's returns are finally released it will become apparent that he has been claiming 12 wives and 27 children as dependents. I learned this information from someone who works for Harry Reid who knows someone who worked at Bain Capital. It is reliable information.

The Rassmussen poll has Romney ahead by 4 points. Leave it to Jingthing to only pick the poll that says what he wants it to say.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 47% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 43%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll/

If it is only old college gossip then why doesn't Obama simply release his records? According to your way of thinking about Romney, Obama's refusal to release documents is because he is lying and hiding something.

In Obama's case I agree with you. Something is in the Occidental, Columbia or Harvard records that is very detrimental to Obama. If not, why has he spent millions in legal fees to cover it up?

In my best Harry Reid impersonation, a very good source that knows told me personally Obama has spent $5.7 million to cover up his history.

How about starting with the auto industry bailout? He and his minions placed the UAW ahead of preferred stock holders in any bankruptcy procedures, which is a clear violation of bankruptcy laws.

How about the various appointments to federal agencies, particularly the NLRB, when Congress was NOT in recess? This act violated the Constitution.

The list could be very long.

Fareed Zakaria might have lost some of his luster as a prime source of information.

UPDATED: Time, CNN Suspend Zakaria | Talk About Concealed Carry: Fareed Zakaria Plagiarized Paragraph on History of Gun Control

By Tim Graham | August 10, 2012 | 07:19

[uPDATED below page break: TIME magazine, CNN have suspended Zakaria.] When CNN host and Time editor-at-large Fareed Zakaria wrote a new piece called “The Case for Gun Control,” it ended with a bang: “So when people throw up their hands and say we can't do anything about guns, tell them they're being un-American--and unintelligent.”

Here’s something that suggests a lack of intelligence: plagiarism. Cam Edwards at NRANews.com suggested to me that Zakaria seemed to plagiarize a paragraph from an April article in The New Yorker magazine -- with a modicum word-usage changes and interjections (Texas!) in an attempt to paper it over. Here’s a paragraph from his Time piece:

Romney to pick Ryan.

A risky choice.

As predicted, if Romney wins, now especially with Ryan, he will have no choice but to govern from the far right.

Ryan, the classic heartless conservative budget extremist. Slash the budget. Let the poor suffer and die.

This will make the tea party base happy.

It will make Romney's loss much more likely.

When Romney loses he can blame the far right, and deflect blame from himself.

I think he made this pick because he knows he is going to lose so wants to be seen in history as believing in something, because nobody really believes he does now.

All in all, a great day for Americans! (Because Romney will lose.)

Ryan is a great pick. Ryan is very intelligent and has balls enough to tackle entitlements. Maybe we still have a chance to save America before Obama flushes it down the toilet.
