I am not a communist.

No, you just support one for President.

I just think the fact the USA is the most economically unequal country in the advanced world is rotten! The republicans aim to make that worse. Black people know that too.

"economically unequal"? So you believe in from each according to their abilities, to each according to their needs?

Great article about media bias in America. Yes, it real. Here is a tiny bit of it. I encourage you to follow the link to read the whole thing. The list of gaffes by Obama is great for a laugh but there is also more serious stuff there as well.

But the way the media focus relentlessly on gaffes and ignores substantive issues when covering one side, while ignoring gaffes and issues critical of the other side, does serious damage to the integrity of news reporting.

In a letter to Dr. James Currie in 1786, Thomas Jefferson wrote, "Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost."

But what of a press that limits itself to only covering news that favors its own political ideology?

Where is the real news?

Since the recovery began in June 2009, real median household income has fallen 4.8%, according to a new report from Sentier Research. This report is especially damning because incomes only dropped 2.6% during the recession.

Shouldn't this be front page news?

The deficit is closing in on $16 trillion. That's $1 trillion more than our entire GDP in 2011. The U.S. is on its way to becoming Spain. The president's solution? Raise taxes on the upper 2%. But that takes in only about $45 billion. The CBO reports our deficit in 2012 is $1.1 trillion.

I am not a communist.

No I mean severe lack of class mobility. Much worse now than in Europe.

Just how OBSCENE of an inbalance are you willing to accept? 10 people owning 99 percent? Geez! Get the money in the hands of people who SPEND it.

I don't suppose you have a link to any stats? Because I don't think that is true at all.

So move to a communist country for chrissakes. Seriously. If poor people want more money, let them work for it like anyone else. If they can't work, they'll just have to get over it and accept that life sucks for them. They have ZERO right to take money from someone else just because that person is successful. That's what Obama wants to do. Just like Lenin, Mao and the others. And you support him. Hmmm.

What have the poor ever done for me? Nothing but bug me for money while wearing expensive sneakers. What have rich, successful people done for me? Plenty, like hiring me to work in their business which they created.

Shockingly callous.

First time you heard about this issue? Wow.

“It’s becoming conventional wisdom that the U.S. does not have as much mobility as most other advanced countries,” said Isabel V. Sawhill, an economist at the Brookings Institution. “I don’t think you’ll find too many people who will argue with that.”

Great article about media bias in America. Yes, it real.

A great article. It is simply amazing that I have never heard this before:

"It didn't matter that the flash card given to the vice president was prepared by a teacher and was itself misspelled. It was carried on every news wire, every news program and in every late night TV monologue."

Today's GOP. Party for the whites. No wonder ZERO percent of black people support them. Did I mention they are anti-science and climate change denialists?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/harold-meyerson-in-modern-gop-the-old-south-returns/2012/08/28/4d673034-f144-11e1-892d-bc92fee603a7_story.html

The Republican ticket may hail from Massachusetts and Wisconsin, but Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan head the most Southernized major U.S. political party since Jefferson Davis’s day. In its hostility toward minorities, exploitation of racism, antipathy toward government and suspicion of science, today’s Republican Party represents the worst traditions of the South’s dankest backwaters.

No other party in U.S. history has done such a 180. Founded as the party of the anti-slavery North and committed to deep governmental involvement in spurring the economy (land-grant colleges, the Homestead Act, the transcontinental railway), today’s GOP is the negation of Abraham Lincoln’s Republicans. It is almost entirely white — 92 percent, compared with just 58 percent of Democrats. It is disproportionately Southern — 49 percent of Republicans live in the South vs. 39 percent of Democrats.

Are democrats running a rude election? You betcha!

Finally! You posted something I can completely agree with. thumbsup.gif

Me too.

DNC PROCEEDS WITH 2-HOUR ISLAMIC ‘JUMAH’ PRAYERS (AND YOU WON‘T BELIEVE WHO’S INVITED)

Posted on August 27, 2012 at 8:25pm by Erica Ritz

Up to 20,000 people are expected to attend the Friday prayers and Jibril Hough, a spokesman for the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), said the purpose of the event is to hold political parties accountable for the issues faced by Muslim-Americans.

In particular, the event will target the Patriot Act, the NYPD, the National Defense Authorization Act, and anti-Shariah sentiment.

And while Muslim-Americans undeniably face distinct challenges, those who are well-informed on the dangers of radical Islam are expressing their doubts.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, a devout Muslim and the Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, wrote:

The leaders of this event – Jibril Hough and Imam Siraj Wahhaj [are not] moderates. They are radicals. These individuals embrace Islamist supremacy and have demonstrated support for radical ideologies.

A quick Google search by the DNC would have shown them that Hough and Wahhaj are leaders in the separatist American Islamist movement. While they may be able to get a few thousand Muslims to attend the event, they are NOT going to be mainstream Muslims. Most will likely come from Hough and Wahhaj’s radical networks that have long been entrenched in the Charlotte area. Make no mistake they are part of the Islamist movement.

HEY! WAKE UP! Social mobility is restricted when you give away too many handouts. Obama's and the Democrat's policies of free handouts is solely to create a dependent underclass of guaranteed votes.

Well so far the Tampa convention isn't helping Romney.

Ann's speech was like a Mormon Stepford wives convention. What a crock! She think she will get any female swing voters with that? That's delusional. She talks about women knowing which doctors to call at night. Think how that resonates to the millions of women with no health insurance or afraid of losing it, and he husband is on record to KILL Obamacare! Shameful and disgusting. Totally out of touch, except with rich white women like herself.

The fat man speaking, who thinks he is Jesus Christie or something ... what an airbag! Awful speech. 99 percent about his big fat ego. 1 percent about Romney. He gives no reason why to vote for Romney.

Does Romney have the best speech in the history of the world in him? Because that's what he needs now to get a bounce from this farce of a convention. This convention showing his brutal DICTATOR style in crushing the Ron Paul dissent. You know he doesn't have it in him. Americans don't like him and they will never like him. He's a weird, creepy man and if you know it but won't admit it.

I haven't seen or read anything about the speeches but even if I were to take your analysis as the God honest truth, I'd still vote for Romney over the America-destroying, class warfare loving, complete failure and Amateur that is the Marxist B.H. Obama.

Of course you would. You're part of the right wing base that would vote for a turtle if it was running against Obama.

Ann Romney's speech has gotten all kinds of praise and so has Christie's (although a lot of people were disappointed that they were too polite to point out Obama's failure more harshly). I'm really looking forward to Ryan in particular and also Romney.

I am not a big Rush fan, but sometimes he hits the nail on the head:

"The reason Obama is so desperate to get Romney's tax returns is because Obama wants to show his base voters what a tax return looks like." - Rush

Of course you would. You're part of the right wing base that would vote for a turtle if it was running against Obama.

Obama himself hasn't been able to tell voters what he has done the past 3.5 years that they should vote for him so why should anyone? And no, I wouldn't vote for a turtle.

Here's a take on America and Obama from a black woman, immigrant. I fully expect the racially sensitive Libs to tear her apart. Stay tuned...

The America I know is great — not because government made it great but because ordinary citizens like me, like my father and like you are given the opportunity every day to do extraordinary things. That is the America I know!

Unfortunately President Obama doesn’t seem to live in or believe in the America I have come to know.

His America is a divided one. He has taken class warfare to a new low. In an effort to distract our nation from his failed economic and social policies, he has attempted to pit us against each other based on the color of our skin, our gender, income level, age and social status.

...

The truth is that the president’s policies have made minorities and the most vulnerable in society more desperate and dependent on government, less self-reliant, less upwardly mobile and ultimately less free. His America is an ever-expanding nanny state that is simply unsustainable and unhealthy for our people, our economy and our future.

Yeah. Sure. whistling.gif
Is there anything worse than someone being obnoxiously boastful about a quality when it can easily be demonstrated he doesn’t possess it? Chris Christie insists, declares, brags and (more aggressively than perhaps anyone ever has) physically inflicts on us his “truthtelling.” But it’s phony, phony, phony.

That is your problem as your mind is closed:

Christie and Ryan talk a lot about “courage.” It’s an excellent virtue. But where is the courage in giving the wealthy people who are financing your campaigns all they want while accusing those who might vote against you of wishing to spend life in a hammock?

Let's look at the Obama illusion of how taxing the rich will solve all our economic problems.

According to Obama's tax-the-rich policy, his plan would raise an estimated total of $45 BILLION annually.

With federal government expenditures of $3.6 TRILLION in fiscal year 2012, this works out to an average operating cost of $9.863 BILLION per day.

Now think about this...If Obama's big tax plan calls for raising taxes on the rich only amounts to $45 BILLION per year, this would cover government spending for a grand total of FOUR DAYS , 13 HOURS AND THIRTY MINUTES.

Obama's plan isn't exactly a long term plan, but it is a first rate class divider.

The solution isn't taxing the wealthy, it is cutting government bureaucracy, stabilizing tax laws, repealing Obamacare, establishing an effective energy policy, cancelling job killing government regulations and putting 23 million people back to work to increase the real tax base.

You'd think he could at least take the time to sign the letters. These are members of the SEALs - the people that Obama "led" to get Osama just a few months earlier. They died in the war that Obama called the good war, one he supported and escalated. I bet he has found plenty of time to sign his golf score cards

Follow the link to see images of the letters.

Obama Honored Fallen SEALs By Sending Their Parents a Form Letter Signed By Electric Pen

On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was thedeadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 membersof the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.

...

After the deadliest single loss of US forces in Afghanistan, Barack Obama sent out form letters to the parents.

Boy, that was one of the easiest, sure-thing predictions of the year...

Tuesday night after rising GOP star Mia Love brought down the house with her inspiring convention speech, the stomach-turning Left labeled the black conservative

Meanwhile, revoltingly racist, woman-hating Wikipedia vandals were hard at work updating her entry with disgusting slurs like “House Nigger” and
The page called her a “total sell-out to the Right Wing Hate machine and the greedy bigots who control the GOP.”

Gay people need jobs too! thumbsup.gif

Perhaps some American gays actually put what's best for their country as a whole above their own personal issues. The right to call your union a marriage vs. bankrupting the country. Hmmm, easy choice which one is more important. Btw, I support same sex marriage but it is an issue that affects a tiny fraction of the population whereas the economic woes we face affect 100% of us. Some gays obviously see that.
