It all comes down to who you are and how you show yourself. I have been living here for a while and most Thai people I have met have shown no disrepect towards me as I have been nice to them. Nothing about giving them gifts or cash just helping them when they need help. I also live in a small town and have met many farang, some I like, some I would not give the time of day after a conversation with them. Life is a choice.....nothing more and nothing less.

I learned a long time ago that my 3 best friends are; me, myself, and I.

Best way to find some friends ?

Don't go looking for them.
