December 28, 200520 yr Hi, I did some looking around tonight; do Thais need a transit visa/visa for Taiwan. Checking out travelocity there are some good prices going from JFK to BKK in May via Taiwan.. but I wasn't exactly sure as to whether the wife will need a visa? Thanks
December 28, 200520 yr If you're just going to transit in the airport you don't need to go through immigration so you don't need a visa. Is this via EVA?
December 28, 200520 yr As said if it is the same day and a connecting flight and all documents are with you no visa is required. If it is the EVA flights you transit in the new area of the airport. Get off plane and go upstairs and await going back downstairs to board new aircraft.
