I thnk you'll find mother was responsible for the necessity of invention.

I can't really imagine eleven tigers; I struggled after taming five on Saturday, when I'd misread the rugby schedule.

Luckily, with a game that goes on five days, that is less critical with cricket; we could perhaps say it is cricketal.

Anyway, tell us again about this whisky fuel that you have invented. Could we run our charabanc on it? Would it be better for drinking than the pink diesel on which we currently rely? On the bright side, that gives me the runs...

ahhh...its okay...

what happens on tour stays on tour thumbsup.gif

...the impact of a cricketing tour on your batting average will follow you for the rest of your life (and beyond)

Especially if you start drinking pink diesel

I was reading today that Thais have been playing cricket since 1890 in Bangkok.

I think we're a bit late telling them they need cricket.

Maybe I tink too mutt.

I'll get my coat

Oxford University was founded over 700 years ago, but many Brits could still benefit from further academic study.

Some Thais play cricket, and benefit from its positive externalities, but most still do not. Thailand needs cricket.

Good on ya Boss for picking theblether up there. I say, he is being a little disrespectful.

Thais in Bangkok might play cricket, but we aren't talking bangkok only, we are talking Thailand.

Ahem, do you mind? I was only pointing out a historical accuracy. I wonder when the first cricket match was played in Thailand?

If you care to note the time, under the heading at the top of this page, you will see that the first Real cricket match in Thailand stated at

18:20hrs on the 11th day of May 2012....thumbsup.gif

Anything before that date were practice games.....smile.png

Hey there theblether.

I know that your input would be welcomed here and commentary is usually completed in teams and we have tentively allotted one of those positions to richardjm65 ... but the other lead commenter position is available.

But I get the sneaking suspicion that you don't have that heart felt love of the game?

Maybe you could lie down on the couch here and recant your early childhood Cricketing experiences?

Ill be having a spell for a couple of weeks boys.

My 20/20 contract duties are calling.

I will try and make the odd appearance in the crowds during that time.

Keep on lifting those averages!

I don't want to see anyone's end when the cheerleaders about. Save that sort of malarky for the showers after the game. Let's hope they're cold showers, seems like this shower need a cold one

OH ... maybe you change your Avatar to post-104736-0-23025100-1338955317_thumb. so we can visually see your commitment while you are subbed off the field.

I can do all the graphics for you.

What you think BookMan?

Its a good offer but i have to stick with the dog.

The fans get agitated every time i change.

I do like that both Avatars have big noses though

Speaking of Avatars ... I've been in contact with the Boss and have dug deep into the Cricking Archives to find a rare action shot of him.

There photos are rare as he shuns publicity and often ask his children to make public appearances on his behalf.

Will we have to train Thai elephants to beat those Indian copies.

It is better just to leave balls that bounce that high

If he really wants to play the ball, he should at least try to cut or pull it for some runs

A shot like the one demonstrated in the photo is just asking for trouble
