qualtrough
There is a guy who specializes in older American cars whose name I cannot remember at the moment. He often has ads for American cars in the Bangkok Post. I saw a profile on him and he has several lots, one up in Lumlukka. If you look in the Post I am sure you will see one of his ads sooner or later. Another option is to buy one of the big car ad mags that come out every week. They have a section for older vehicles and you might find an old Chevy that way. Right now I think your best bet is to locate the guy I am talking about. Sorry I can't remember the name or provide contact details. When I first arrived here in 1980 the taxis between Hat Yai and Penang were almost all older chevys, ranging from 55 up to mid 60s. I imagine those are gone now, and they were rolling wrecks anyway. Used to see the occasional US cars parked abandoned in Sois, not so much anymore.
