We are delighted to once again partner with the iconic brand Ferrari, that shares our passion for design, craftsmanship and performance," said CEO Pauramin. "The Constellation Quest Ferrari is a handset that embodies these values perfectly. Vertu is also offering a range of specially created Ferrari content and services which will give customers an insight into the world of Ferrari."

The design of the new handset takes inspiration from the Ferrari 458 Italia, with the iconic Cavallino Rampante, intrinsically crafted from polished stainless steel and embedded in the titanium battery cover. The Ferrari logo is embossed in the leather on the front of the handset.

Crafted from luxurious materials such as polished sapphire crystal, Ferrari calf leather and polished black ceramic, each Constellation Quest Ferrari handset is built by just one craftsman, who signs the handset as an assurance of commitment to quality.

The combined efforts of the Ferrari and Vertu engineering teams have also resulted in the debut of the newly modified DLC (Diamond-like carbon) coating on the Constellation Quest Ferrari. Due to its ability to resist extreme conditions, such as abrasion and pressure, this coating is also used for key engine parts in Ferrari GT and Formula 1 cars. The leather used in the creation of the product is the same handmade Italian calf leather Ferrari uses in the interior of its GT cars.

The new analogue clock on the handset is inspired by the rev counter on Ferrari's 458 Italia. This analogue clock is also an interactive element that provides the user with the home time while travelling as well as active alarms and the appointments of the day, which are automatically updated from the smartphone's calendar. A new set of ringtones was obtained from live recordings of a Ferrari 458 Italia on a test circuit.

"With Constellation Quest Ferrari, Vertu has enhanced its offering of relevant, tailored services even further," said the CEO. "Once a customer registers the handset with Vertu Concierge, it becomes the key to the world of Ferrari. By pressing the specially created Cavallino key featured on the front of the handset, users are able to access Ferrari content and experiences, as well as take part in Ferrari events around the world."

According to the CEO, the content is updated on a regular basis and follows the global Ferrari activity schedule throughout the year. Another service is the Vertu City Brief, which constantly delivers a list of nearby Ferrari dealerships as well as authorised garages and service centres, to ensure worldwide access to Ferrari wherever the handset owners may be.

Vertu is the manufacturer of luxury mobile phones, with three distinct collections: Signature, Ascent, and Constellation. Each mobile phone is assembled at the company's headquarters in England. Vertu is available in over 500 stores, including over 70 boutiques in 66 countries worldwide.

Wow... nothing says "Look how much money I have" like a Vertu phone !! - What an vulgar, tasteless and unstylish display of wealth.

By all means buy the Ferrari if you can afford it, do without the phone !!

I understand why some guys like nice watches (Panerai, Rolex, Bell&Ross, Frank Muller etc)... I get that.

I get why some girls like nice handbags (LV, Prada, Gucci, Hermes, Chanel etc)...

I don't think I can ever understand someone who spends this much money on a phone.

Same, same. Only 8,000 baht. Not sure if the original isn't better looking? Slap a couple of prancing horses on it and you're good to go.
