Bredbury Blue
At least we have a reason for 3 stars on our shirt!!. To most City fans delight, in a couple of months our shirts will be superseded by this one:- City New 2016 1.jpg Any chance of you having/owning your own ground by then Noticed the Etihad is your pet subject. Here's the thing, we got the Etihad and all around it for a great deal. This season the Etihad Stadium capacity has been increased by 7,000 seats to 55,000 after adding a third tier to the South Stand and adding three new rows of pitchside seats, which results in higher match day income. City have also received planning permission for potential further expansion up to 62,000 by doing the same for the North Stand. Now do you think our owners would be doing all of that if they weren't more than happy with our great deal with the City of Manchester?

Iheanacho has played just 517 minutes in the prem, with just 8 starts and got 5 goals. The other 6 starts were in the Cups and he has scored 6. As per BredBlues posts in the City thread, only Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge possess better goals-per-minute ratios in the entire league at one goal every 81 minutes in all competitions. The Mirror is reporting as follows: "...City have a youngster of their own. And he doesn't just have a better scoring rate than Rashford, he currently has THE best scoring rate in the whole of Europe.Kelechi Iheanacho is currently averaging a goal every 81.3 minutes. Yikes." That's a bit premature with 3 games to go and Man City losing 4-1 atm against Southampton. With Man City V Arsenal next week, someone will drop points. Crickey Stoney, i bet your kicking yourself for dropping those 2 points against Leicester the other week now, otherwise you would be right there to take that 4th spot now wouldn't you. As for Eric, if he had a shave he'll look 10 years younger, what is it with these beards these days, is it the latest fashion to look like a 1970's fanny? He was clearly winding up the elbow before Huth grabbed his curly locks. But if they do Huth as well there will be bricks shat by Leicester fans. He has been immense for them this season. SantiSuk
Expected a firecracker of a game - got a damp squib. Still I'm sure you lot would take a win any way going. We'll try help you (and ourselves of course) out at the Etihad tomorrow. Hope Leroy doesn't go looking for the game at the Emirates - he seemed convinced we are playing at home, but maybe he's just getting his Arab airlines mixed up. Don't think we'll be seeing Norwich again for a good number of years. They need to bring a goalscorer with them next time.

SantiSuk
Here's hoping MU get CL and/or win the Cup and it persuades the management/owners to hang onto LVG. Can see him giving you or getting you near to something every season (with the amount of resources of the club), but legendary again? Never in a month of Sundays. He's just too .... well, odd! Perhaps I should be saying that he's misunderstood, brilliant and underrated - in the style of those fans of other club who keep saying Arsenal fans are disloyal and daft in wanting to let go of the excellent Arsene Wenger.

Why did the brilliant LvG rest Rashford ? Yes you won but why rest one of your best players when you still fight for the top 4 ? Well the kid is only 18 and if you have ever coached young players, whose bodies are still growing, its a risk to overload them (Michael Owen and Wellbeck perfect examples) and LVG did not expect Martial was going to pull out in the warm up.Martial was going to play up front with Rooney sitting in behind. Plus West Ham is going to be a very much harder match in a few days time. Thats why Blind didn't play either ,he's played nearly every match so far this season. They are not machines, sometimes you have to weigh up options, part of management. LVG is a popular punching bag for armchair critics,he's made mistakes, who hasnt ? SAF let Pogba walk away, now he's the potentially most sought after midfielder in the world. Bredbury Blue
"Just like to add Mata is all class." Totally agree with you, and seems a likeable character too; think he's one of those players that fans of other clubs like and appreciate (Zola being the classic example). Still a mystery why Chelsea sold him.
