The kiddies like Rashford are super talented but young. Don't discount what Zlatan brought this season. Without him United would have been eating soup with a fork.

I agree, and I also think he will be back in good shape for next season .  Age 36 is nothing if you have the talent and ability to train hard.

He is a unique player. Remember all the goals and chances he created for other players from early in the season , it lifted the team for sure.

I think its a matter of survival this season, but i think we need to be in the Champions league to land the best players for next year, i think were likely to see 4 or 5 in, depending on who goes.

I don't care if we finish 7th as long as Liverpool is 8th I'd be happy

Not so sure Zlatan will have it easy regaining his form. Two main ligaments at his age will be tough. Took Falcao three years to get even close to what he once was.

Zlatan will struggle to come back and the extension that was on the table should now be withdrawn as he wont be back in contention for a place until next year...hard facts but in this mercenary football world we are in <deleted> paying him millions at the end of his career.

Rashford will be a superstar by the time he is fit anyway as if he isnt already.

Always said pace is the way United have dominated over the years and nothing has changed..buy or breed some fast whippets and nobdy can catch em the dogs bollarks as they say....

Bring on the Berties and give Rashford et all a bone.....

Not a bad idea that.  With stability conscious Peter locked in his clubs past would you name it the "History Thread?"

Or "The Good Old Days?":shock1:

Two trophies in the cabinet THIS season,Cup winners last season.

The spuds have nowt to show in the last 10 years...........7 consecutive losing FA cup semi finalists......pathetic :cheesy:

Mr Poch has never won a trophy in his whole managerial career, come back on this thread when you have something in the cabinet (you probably need to actually buy one)

The past is history and cannot be denied

1961 chaps.........1961...........abysmal really, but who cares outside north london :ermm:

Win the influx of foreign coaches seems trophies are titles and they even count the charity shield/cup

Spurs would just love to win it mate, it means you have either won the league or the fa cup, something spurs only dream about!!.

Obviously you wouldn't be on it would you ?  i love it when people see themselves as different to how other people see them,  the only poster to ever talk so much rubbish on his own teams thread that even one of his fellow supporters had enough and deserted the ship, the only poster who threatens to put people on ignore everytime they make him look silly,  the no1 bias poster on the football thread, pathetic little man !
