I can assure you that any EURO 2012 games that are streamed on Thai Expat TV for the full duration of the game, will be of high quality (depending on a min 3meg stable internet connection).

I have a 3.5 (or 4) mb connection. My download speeds (torrents) are consistently around 3.2mb yet I couldn't maintain a stable stream.

Enjoyed both games on GMM Z box last night. Being based in Isaan the Ch3 signal has a bad reception and True I dumped a long time ago. 1590 Baht for the Euro 2012 was well invested and I am looking forward for the games tonight.

For German speaking users, sign up for a free 7 days trial at Bong TV and you can download all games if you have a minimum of 3mbit.

I am not affiliated with them but have been using them for the past 18 months at 5 Euros per month for 75GB storage space. Of course the game is delayed and as it is a Virtual Video recorder, the recording ends when the game is finish.

A small tip for ThaiExpat TV. I would not put a logo on for the Euro 2012 or the Olympics 2012 in London. I done it in the past once for the Beijing Olympics 2008 and the World Cup 2010 in South Africa and received letters from both the Olympic Committee and FIFA. The Android Market account and as well the Apple iPhone developer account was also suspended within 24 hours after launch so if you do decide one day to launch a mobile application, make sure you do not cross the red line. I was involved in the World Cup 2008 mobile application for Sony Ericsson and they were not even permitted to use the name World Cup South Africa 2012 because Sony was the only rights owner.

Thats exactly what i thought, i managed to find through Thai visa that the password was 0000 found out how to change the language to english,got the channels working ok except the 11 premium channels which i thought were free for 1-3 months, found the 16 digit refence number phoned grammy-finally got through 4 hours latter entered 16 digit number and waited and waited-(nothing happened) phoned again the next day,got through after 6 hours!!! entered 16 digit number-20 minutes later,tv platform starts loading and when finished message says the 11 channels are prepaid channels-ie-not viewable....so phone true and ask at many shops how can i pay for these channels???? Answer-nobody knows and as grammy doesnt have operaters to take your call you cant ask them..admittedly i do have thai tv to watch the Euros but was under the illusion i would get English commentary....Think me and other falangs have been lead on a wild goose chase..i will watch the games free now in engish commentary on Paddy Powers site on my laptop, the last few days have been a mare!!!!!

I talked with them directly on the phone,she asked for my card number,and some personal information,15 min later channels were open,with the remote control u can change the language while watching a movie or whatever,I remember when I called them band started talking in thai,I pressed no4,then a thai answered my call,I asked for english speaker,and got connected within 1minute to english speaking female. 028418888 or 026698851

Only turn it on when you want to watch something though. It is a pain in the arse as it redirects google to their site, and you get a pop up video advert. use it sparingly, turn it on, watch, turn it off. It gives you a UK IP, so therefore anything you can view in the UK, you can view here. Anything (for all you porno and betting boys out there)

What do you expect? They're fine by me. EPL, tennis and golf majors, MLB, NBA, good choice of movies (although the censorship riles me), BBC channels, Starworld and lots of US shows, Animal Planet, Discovery, History, CNN and BBC for news (Fox would be nice, despite its ludicrous rightwing bias), Thai channels and music for the girlfriend, all for around 40 quid a month. I think some people would moan about whatever TV service they receive, but forget they're living in a foreign country.

i`m on CAT hi-net and have the 4 mb service and speedtest.net reports 3.5 mb most all of the time ....I think one month on ThaiExpatTv will be enough for me , shame really , UKTV had it sorted but sadly packed in...Either TETv have a bandwidth issue or they need to recommend your connection is 5mb and up...I even tried an auto pinger to try and stop the buffering but no improvement...?

Yep there is loads of ways online to watch the euros, other than TETv,

i like you have loads of options..what i dont understand is that i watched the second match last night full screen (hdmi) using the free gmmeuro.com/live with left channel thai/ right channel english commentary without a buffer notice in sight, but i was unable to do the same on TETv...i`m not too worried about the football but i was hoping to use their service for WSBK, BSBK and Moto GP if they ever got eurosport, but as you know they don`t have the option of rewinding etc thats not much use if you hit a buffer error and by the time it catches up you`re 6 laps down the road..and that`s a paid service with the servers here in thailand..
