My daughter broke the screen on a Sony Vaio laptop.

Is there somewhere (ideally in Bangkok to buy (or order) a new screen?

We will need someone to fit it too.

I would suggest that you visit Pantip Plaza, as they have a Sony official merchant there, as well as likely cheaper solutions.

I am pretty sure that the screen is one of the most expensive components of a laptop, so if it's an old version, you might just as well buy a new one - but check the repair costs and make you own mind up.

My Sony screen cracked ,went to panthip plaza 3 floor ..small shop that buys and sells computers.They charged me 800 baht and repaired the screen in 30 minutes

As suggested, we went to Pantip Plaza, and had it fixed in 20 minutes.

Good news, how much did they charge you? Was it 3rd floor?

It cost 3000 on the 3rd floor, although we could have got it cheaper as the guy had to buy the new screen from one of his buddies so I guess they shared the profit, but like I say it only took 20 minutes and is good as new now.

While I was there, I also got a cracked iPhone screen (another victim of my energetic / hyper-active baby daughter) replaced by a guy on the 2nd floor for 2500 baht (took about an hour).
