I'm intrested in purchasing a 2jz gte engine in Bangkok (want to swap this engine with my friends 2.5 litre from his bmw e36 coupe), does anyone know how much that would cost me in Bangkok ? Are there any websites of jdm engine shops in Bangkok (websites that are in english ?). Does anyone maybe have some experience with these kinda swaps ? Sorry for all these questions but im totally new to forums and this kinda stuff. Hope anyone can provide me with some info.

Thank you for those both 2 sites, could you tell me if those shops are in Bangkok ? Not sure if i can find someone that could translate, does it say anywhere how much the 2jz gte engine costs at their shop ?

Yes both have Bangkok telephone numbers.

If you go to www.9yakyai.com

Click on STOCK and then scroll down to the picture of a 2JX GTE then it looks like the price is 65k baht.

I can't read thai so I am only guessing

As far as 2JZ is concerned,there are lots of shops in Cheng Kong on Bangna Trat Rd that have this engine available.Other shops in Bkk are:

Non turbo Performance(T)01 456 5052 (Pathum Thani)

Power & Performance(T)02 721 1267 (SriNakarin)

JCR Turbo(T)02 384 3282 (Samrong,Sukhumvit)

S.T Motorsports (T)02989 7735 (Suriwong)

Loads of other shops around,but I cant remember the names.Failing these,go to BKK Drag Avenue in Klong 5 on Saturday nights and ask the drag racers there!
