Ez-Bribe Card business. Can it be upgraded to an "Elite"????

Of course, for a non-refundable deposit of THB 2.0 million,

this of course gives you many VIP privilages such as use of the VIP Ez-Bribe lane on the motorway, your very own airport official you can slap around the head on arriving a swampy, guaranteed pay off insurance when facing murder charges and discount coupons to the tune of THB 20,000 for use at Poseidon's, Monday to Friday only (terms and conditions apply)

For a small fee (1000 baht per year) I upgraded to the gold ezy-bribe pass and now get redeemable points with every use!

They got you......I only paid 500 baht for the year.......cheesy.gif

Who got who, i wonder... have you tried to use your card yet? hehe

No, not going to. Will keep it as a souvenir.whistling.gif

Talk about openly advertising the new bribery system!! How can anyone honestly take Thailand seriously as a country when it so puts it in your face that parts of its supposedly clean cut image is so dirty.

They never took Thailand Seriously any ways.

Thailand another HOB, HOB for bribery

Money collecting agency---THE BIB----They win the lottery every day.

SATIRE

Police Launch New EZ-Bribe Card For Motorists

Maybe the word satire means something completely different in Aussie, but in the rest of the English speaking world it means taking the p*ss...thumbsup.gif

What a brilliant idea. Checkpoints manned by Sgt Nop the silent cop - that would free up a lot of officers nwho could then go out and do real police work, like closing bars for showing, or clearing Beach Road of freelance hookers. More officers would have more time to study which laws they're not going to enforce today.

This is already in operation in Phuket, and I am not being satirical. All drivers carrying passengers have to purchase a monthly card from the Bib which they need to show at any checkpoint. If they don't have it, and they are carrying Farangs, they are fined. Every minivan, limousine, taxi and black taxi needs to pay the card or he will end up paying more if he is stopped. It has been in operation for years .....

Apparently, if you have more than 28psi pressure in your front tires, you will be fined. The same is true for traveling with rabbits in the car at a speed lower than 40km/h.
