Good Quality Dental Treatment In The South Of Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi

I just returned from the dentist and was quoted a price of 30,000 bht for 6 porcelain crowns for my bottom, back teeth which seemed a little expensive by thai standards especially when it was porcelain veneers I wanted for my front teeth to enhance my smile/appearance.

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between crowns and veneers and could anyone recommend a quality dental practise which offers a more affordable service in the Phuket, Surat Thani and Chumphon regions of Thailand

JAF

The Bangkok Phuket Hospital have a very good dental practice. I have no idea what the cost of the work will be but to give you an idea of the general costs a filling costs Baht 700, a comprehensive descaling clean Baht 700 and an x ray Baht 100.

Also have been recommended the dental clinic outside of Bangkok Phuket Hosp- the one with the big smiley tooth sign :D

And apparently opposite the Royal Phuket City Hotel is another very good and inexpensive clinic used by many expat residents.

Plus the Mission Hospital dental clinic has high standards and not expensive at all!!

I went last to the Phuket International Hospital clinic but wouldn't recommend it.
