The 27th Bangkok International Motor Show to Kick Off Next Month

The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Grand Prix International Company Limited held a press conference on the 27th Bangkok International Motor Show at Vibhavadee (วิภาวดี) Ball Room A-B of Sofitel Hotel, Central Plaza in Lad Prao (ลาดพร้าว) branch.

The Bangkok International Motor Show is an event in which Grand Prix International Company Limited and the TAT have organized for the 27th time, and over the past, the events were a success. This year, the motor show is being prepared in order to optimize its potential. It will help promote Thailand’s automobile industry to be the center automobile industry in the world, as it is already the one of the country’s main industries.

Dr. Prajin Uiemlumnao (ปราจิน เอี่ยมลำเนา), the Chairperson of the Bangkok International Motor Show, said this year’s show concept is “natural energy is the energy of the future”. At the moment, Thailand is experiencing fuel problems, and it is necessary for the nation to look for an alternative fuel for future use. It is the cooperation as well as the responsibility of the Thai people, and many concerned companies will be presenting their technologies at the Bangkok International Motor Show.

And as this year is the year to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 60th anniversary of accession to the throne, special events and activities will be arranged in this motor show and one of them is a special celebration rally. Other highlights here will include motorcycle rally, folk rally, overnight rally, a tournament organized by the Off Road Association of Thailand and the Association of Mini, Volks Wagon, Porshe, Ferrari, Mustang, Fiat, Harley Davidson, and many other activities.

The Bangkok International Motor Show this year will kick off on March 24th and end on April 2nd. The admission ticket is 80 baht, while you will also be able to win prizes such as a car or a motorcycle by sending the tail of your ticket. The motorcycle booth will be opened for free.
