Where Did The Market Go?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know that the market at Wat Chalong runs for 20 days in Jan / Feb for Chinese new year, but can anyone tell me if it appears anywhere else or is there a similar one that's on regularly? It was a really good one! Lots of bargains.

I've been looking for one to take my parents to and haven't found one apart from the usual fruit and veg, poultry, fish etc. I'm looking for clothes, jewelry, gift nic naks etc. The only one I can think of that has everything is in Kamala but I'm not sure what day that's on.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Kate

Think you've just missed the OTOP one near the entrance to Dulwich / Opposite the Boat Lagoon.

have you tried the weekend markets (talad tai rot) in Phuket Town?

the big one is opposite Naka temple, just off Chao Fa West road (can't remember the name of the road its on, but its the first road on the left after the Central Festival intersection. Most of the stuff that was for sale at the Chalong temple fair can be found there.
