Achmed And The Traffic Sign

-One day Achmed passes a stop sign without stopping.A police officer stops him a few meters further on.

Officer : Id card and driver license please!"

Achmed: 'Why?'

Officert: "Because you not stopped for a stop sign. ID and license! "

Achmed: "But I still slowed down and couldn't see anybody approaching the cross section"

Officer: "You must stop completely and that you did not. "

Achmed : "What's the difference?"

Officer "The difference is that you must come to a complete stop. "

Achmed: "You get my id and driving license if you can explain me the difference between stop and slow down"

Officer: "Get out of your car .."

While Achmed get's out, the officer takes a metal flashlight and knocks Achmed to the ground. Even when Achmed is lying on the ground, the officer keeps beating him, then saves a few seconds and asks , "Shall I stop or slow down ?"
