Must find a new location for the fabulous sunsets ...but it's an easy walk to my local beach, Ban Por Samui.

Sunsetsky over Bangkok

Your image is a little small, for viewing, can you try posting @ 800 x or 1040 ...

The experience would be more enjoyable for everyone! thumbsup.gif

I am a little stupid, when it comes to tech- stuff as advanced as "posting pictures".

How do I do that?

(I am serious!)

It is difficult to find in Thailand the sort of colorful sunsets one sees in the upper Great Plains of USA.

Here in the lower latitudes the sunset is much "quicker", and we do not get the colors.

One very seldom sees the entire western sky full of color.

But I keep the camera ready, always hoping for that great shot.

I find sunrises here tend to be more dramatic than the sunsets

I think you are right Tangeroa... trouble is I so rarely get out to go see them

This was between Samui and Koh Phangan.

Agree it goes much faster than in northern locations, ... but it really depends on time of year, here....as to whether they are spectacular or not... sometimes they are, especially after the sun has gone down. April May and if I remember August and September, it can be spectacular! (at least here on Samui)

Tuning issues can be really annoying, I find often when tuning images on lightroom screen, does not always carry forth to what shows up on Picasa screen or when uploaded to the forum...

it's one of the issues I find hardest to overcome... Worst is when it's a white hazy cloud day as was today... Sunset not visible today..

Here's an oldy!
