Linear Drain - Bathroom Floor

Featured Replies

We are in the process of buying a house, and I am having hard time to get the builder to agree on installing linear drains in the bathrooms. He's never done it, and it seems that not many people know how to do it in Thailand.

I've tried looking on the web, but could not find a place that sells and/or installs linear drains but had no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am looking to do something like this:

That's what I was suggested, but the problem is that the Thai builders (at least the ones we have spoken to) do not seem to know how to properly install linear drains and are hesitant to do so. It should not be much harder to install; I guess it just takes a while for Thai builders to adopt the latest trends.

My BiL had no previous experience in building Western style homes and all incorporating all of the (sometimes unnessesary) aesthetics that we like. However, showing him drawings and pictures (esp pictures) I found he had no problem the majority of the time. If you showed that pdf pamphlet to any competent Plumber, he should be able to install it. As long as you have already managed to buy it that is.

I had a problem buying several "modern" items in Chaiyaphum. I therefore either bought them in Bangers, Pattaya have some really trendy shops or I took them (if small items) from the UK.
