The wild Amaryllis blooming around Samui now!

The Cereus has bloomed again! This time we have 40 buds,

here's last nites show. It fully opens around 0100 (GMT+7)

Here is a wild flower that is blooming all over the higher elevation forests around Chiang Mai at the moment.

Nong Nooch Gardens.

Pix of flowers always need a tractor in shot I reckon. This one got white sand on tyres. Being clever ... I worked out it is used for beach cleaning. Koh Larn.

Canal Lilies ... Songkhla

Saw this one when I was wandering around down by the swamp and thought it looked nice enough for a photo.

Been super busy and not much time to photograph but spotted this in front of our office and liked the color and the sparkle to it. This is taken with my LG G2 mobile 13Mpixel camera. Toss up of putting it here or the mobile phone topic.

So I have the largest and smelliest flower on Samui, blooming in my garden.... as of today! It's been budding up for a week or more now!

Oh what a stink of rotting meat and the flies!
