Some of the poppy's started blooming a few days ago.

These are a bugger to shoot as they are quite tall and closest focus distance 45cm on my lens means I have to stand on my tip toes, which isn't ideal for stability.

No, this is the gardenia, but not very nice flower this year, don't know why.

1st test shot with the 34 year old 200 f4 Ai-s acquired this morning, manual meter and focus shot on tripod at ISO 200 with noise reduction.

Think its time for a new camera that can meter with Ai glass and not have noise at ISO 200.

Happy with the lens though.
