This is absolutely not Bophut beach! Secret island on West coast... only Oilinky and I know where!

Lovely yesterday on Ban Tai beach Samui,..... hardly a cloud in the sky, yet we had a huge down pour two hours later! (very much needed!)

No, I didn't this time. My partner is not big on birding, the only major hiccup in an otherwise great relationship:-(.

i know that feeling . . . "walking around hot swamps & jungles, to look for birds? baaa!!!!" or something along those lines, is & always has been Mrs G's take on my hobby

So you know what I mean. But I was promised the next trip would not be to a 5-star resort, it will be a birding trip. Let's see how long she lasts....
