hi all

sorry if this has been done to death ,but my visa non o runs out on the 19/4/2006and my flight is booked on 22/4/06,can i get an extention from my local immigration or will i have to just swallow another nintey day visa run

I was told one day is ok and have done that and no fine, 3 might be pushing it, where do they draw the line?

exactly i only live an hour from chong mek think iwill play safe and renew it

I would say you better its not worth all the trouble you will get for overstay better to be safe than sorry :o

There is no allowance by the normal police. If you are overstay you are under arrest and jailed. Any period in overstay is a risk - that in most cases need not be taken. Either get an extension (take your ticket and best smile) or do a border run. The risk may be remote but it is real and not worth taking.
