Tot Outage

Featured Replies

wow, TOT seemed to have a problem this a.m. - how many hours?

working just now, not working for me since 5 a.m.?

Was it more than just TOT?

Your experience?

Where are you located, it could be a local issue only?

My TOT WiNet in Pathumthani has been fine all night, still fine now :)

I'm in Chiangmai. I couldn't access my usual sites - no Google pages, no TV, nothing. I could access the TOT website (www.tot.co.th) which is how I figure it was a TOT issue, but nothing beyond TOT would load - no images from other websites.

I couldn't ping anything beyond TOT either.

Tot was out here when I first checked around 7am. Just came back. I called and they said it was a system wide problem.

Buriram: out at 02.30 this morning, came back at 08.00.

Yep, thankfully I managed to sleep through it.

Off and on some sites loading others not.

TOT is still having issues. I can bring up pages from inside Thailand, but as Semper says, can't access google.com pages (or uTube, Maps, News, etc.) Funny, I can access the Apple.com website. Perhaps TOT is having DNS issues?

Back up...again. Yes, international sites were off. Local ones no problem.

It's off here in Jomtien. ADSL is syncing and PPP is up, but nothing pings.

Seems to be TOT only as I also have 3BB which is fine.

TOT said that they had a problem all over Thailand. My phone and internet were both off. Lost electrical power at about 1330 and when it came back on everything is now working. Must have needed a "kick start". Live in Nakhon Sawan Province.

The internet was down around 11 am when I took a short nap. It was working again sometime before 1 p.m.

It would not have been a good day for the IT guys at TOT. Managers looking for scalps! anybody but their own.

TOT was running like a dry slug this morning, then it went off completely until about 3.30pm her in Samui.

Still down here in Jomtien. My wife called the TOT office in Ban Amphur and they said the whole of Chonburi was affected.

And as I typed that last message it came on!

I couldn't get a peep out of it this morning around 10.30am. What mystified me was that the DSL and Internet connection lights on the modem were on, so I thought there might be a problem with the modem and took it up to the TOT office in Banchang. The lady there said that TOT was "switched off in the whole of Thailand" because of some problem in Bangkok. I wondered whether there was a military coup or something...

It's only come back on here in the last half-hour

TOT primary server in Bangkok crashed per below news report.

Good to have it back :)

Their call centre on 1100 must have been very busy today as many calls would not even connect.

Not only Internet, but our complete MPLS lease line to our factories up country has been down since 4am. It's affecting many businesses and ATM.

Buriram: out at 02.30 this morning, came back at 08.00.

Having written that, it went off again until 16.00.
