2unique Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Saw this in the Dtac shop on Monday - had never even heard of it before... http://www.dtac.co.th/en/device/samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-Grand.html?gclid=CKux4KKmt7UCFUbMtAodGjEA8w 11,900 Baht!! Specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_grand_i9082-5163.php
Gary A Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 This is a new model. There are two versions. One is a dual SIM the other is not. Something tells me that Dtac is NOT offering the dual SIM model. If I wouldn't already have an S3, the dual SIM model is the one I would buy.

lomatopo Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 To me it looks like there are two versions, both of which support dual-SIM applications. One version is 850/1900/2100 MHz 3G. Another is 900/1900/2100 MHz 3G. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_grand_i9082-5163.php Samsung Galaxy Grand I9082 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - SIM 1 only HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 - SIM 1 only SIM Dual SIM (Mini-SIM, dual stand-by) I'd venture to guess that DTAC is selling the 850/1900/2100 MHz version. Also comes with a subsidized plan: http://www.dtac.co.th/en/device/samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-Grand.html 1

Dtac selling fakes doesn't seem credible?!?
Phil Conners Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Note the screen specs, pretty low. That's probably a main reason for the low price. 480 x 800 pixels, 5.0 inches For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 screen specs: 140.9 mm (5.5") HD Super AMOLED (1,280 x 720)
bangkokstick Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Hello, Do you know any better DUAL SIM phone than Galaxy grand and mega ? Thanks.
TommyTucker Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Look at all the other topics regarding i-mobile phones and even Oppo phones.

bangkokstick Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Thank you, but Galaxy mega is shit compared to IQX and I am happy that someone in another thread told me.

jpinx Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 OK - checked with my friendly and unbiased mobile sales people and they tell me that the i-mobiles come back a lot for repairs under warranty and they have to go to the Jaymart shop in central BKK. Samsung come back much less and can be fixed at several Samsung service stations - one near me is Seacon Square..
