No side effects, although a long list of possibilities. i get my Creatinine checked every 8 months, HIV test every 4 months. At Red Cross in Bangkok it's about 450 baht a month for Thai or Indian generic version. Both the same as Travuda. Been taking it for about 5 years -

Senior Police Official Praises Two Officers for Saving Woman in Suicide Attempt
In a commendable act, two officers from Ratchaburi Provincial Police Station were lauded for their swift action in saving a young woman attempting to jump off the Chulalongkorn Railway Bridge. The incident, which occurred on September 27, exemplified the dedication of the Royal Thai Police to protecting and serving the public. Pol. Lt. Gen. Prachuap Wongsuk, Assistant Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police and acting Deputy Commissioner-General, expressed his admiration for the two officers, Pol. Sub-Lt. Wichian Maneevihek and Pol. Sub-Lt. Suphot Udomsuk, for their professionalism and bravery. The officers responded quickly after a call to the 191 emergency hotline reported a woman sitting on the edge of the Chulalongkorn Railway Bridge, crying and appearing ready to jump into the Mae Klong River. The woman, who had parked her motorcycle near the bridge, was in visible distress when the officers arrived. Using calm negotiation tactics, the officers engaged her in conversation to de-escalate the situation. After a tense period of dialogue, they successfully pulled her to safety and provided emotional support. She was later taken to the hospital for evaluation before being safely escorted back to her home in Chom Bueng district. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the woman was suffering from depression and several chronic illnesses. Financial pressures, including medical costs that her family had been helping with, had caused her to feel like a burden. In a moment of despair, she attempted to end her life but was saved in time by the officers’ quick response. Pol. Lt. Gen. Prachuap praised the two officers for embodying the principles of the Royal Thai Police, stating, "Their rapid response and dedication to saving this woman's life is a shining example of what it means to be a protector of peace." He also extended his gratitude to the foundation staff and civilians who played a role in alerting authorities and aiding in the rescue. Picture from responders. -- 2024-09-29 -

Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
One needs to look at why men end their marriages and IMO it's because the women stop having sex. IMO men don't have affairs because the new woman is better, but because the new woman actually has sex. I'd never have left my first partner if she hadn't turned our relationship into a no sex zone. More fool her. The next guy ( it was a miracle, but her sex drive returned when she needed to trap another man ) lasted even less time than I when she tried the same BS on him. -

Death of Woman After Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Vehicle: Chachoengsao
Police Lieutenant Rewat Abdin, Deputy Inspector of Bang Nam Priao Police Station, responded to an incident on September 27, involving the death of a woman due to carbon monoxide poisoning inside a vehicle. The woman, identified as 38-year-old Ms. Phaknan Bamrungphuet from Prachinburi, was discovered unconscious in her Ford Ranger parked along a road near Wat Bang Sai in Chachoengsao. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, she passed away after being rushed to Bang Nam Priao Hospital. The scene revealed the woman’s pickup truck parked by the roadside with a charcoal stove found overturned beside it. People pulled her body from the vehicle and attempted CPR before taking her to the hospital. Her safety shoes were also found nearby. A local resident, Mr. Kit Phokin, 46, a former village headman, was the first to attempt CPR. He stated that he had noticed the truck parked with its window rolled down earlier in the afternoon and assumed the driver was making a phone call. When he returned in the evening, the vehicle was still there. A local resident alerted him that someone was unconscious in the car. He immediately assisted in pulling Ms. Phaknan from the vehicle but noted that she showed no signs of life. According to initial police investigations, Ms. Phaknan had left Prachinburi earlier that day and contacted her relatives before sharing her location. By the time they arrived, however, it was too late. Investigators suspect that her death was linked to a dispute with her partner, though other potential factors, such as financial or health issues, have not been ruled out. Authorities will conduct further inquiries with her family to clarify the circumstances surrounding her tragic death. If you or anyone you know is in emotional distress, please contact the Samaritans of Thailand 24-hour hotline: 02 713 6791 (English), 02 713 6793 (Thai) or the Thai Mental Health Hotline at 1323 (Thai). Please also contact your friends or relatives at this time if you have feelings of loneliness, stress or depression. Seek help. -- 2024-09-29 -

36-Year-Old Arrested for Serial Sexual Assaults, Posing as Employer Seeking Foreign Maids
Authorities have apprehended a 36-year-old man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting young women by pretending to be an employer seeking foreign housemaids. Police suspect that there may be additional victims beyond those already identified. The suspect, referred to only as Mr. Panya, was arrested in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi, on September 28, by a specialised team from the Anti-Human Trafficking Division, led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Worapol Lertwirayapong. During the arrest, officers seized two mobile phones and a motorcycle used in the commission of the crimes. The arrest was made under a warrant issued by the Criminal Court, which charged Mr. Panya with multiple serious offenses, including: 1. Rape through coercion and violence. 2. Committing indecent acts against a person over the age of 15 through threats and violence. 3. Abduction for indecent purposes using deception and coercion. The investigation began on September 25, 2024, when Mr. Panya contacted a 19-year-old woman from Myanmar, referred to as Ms. Ning. She had posted a job advertisement on Facebook, seeking employment as a maid. Mr. Panya offered her a position with a starting salary of 7,500 THB during a trial period, promising to increase it to 9,000 THB afterward. Believing his offer, Ms. Ning agreed to meet him at a location in Bang Bua Thong, where her relatives dropped her off. Upon arrival, Mr. Panya picked her up on his motorcycle, claiming he would take her to her new job. However, he instead led her to a nearby hotel, falsely stating it was a temporary accommodation. Once inside, he violently assaulted her before abandoning her on the roadside and confiscating her phone to prevent her from seeking help. Following the incident, Ms. Ning reported the assault to the police. Authorities swiftly launched a manhunt and were able to apprehend Mr. Panya. During interrogation, he denied the allegations, claiming the encounter was a consensual transaction for sexual services. However, further investigation revealed a history of similar offenses. In May 2024, Mr. Panya was implicated in a similar case involving a 19-year-old Laotian woman who reported the incident to police. Additionally, there was another case from August 2024 involving a Myanmar woman in Sikhiu District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. At the time of his latest arrest, Mr. Panya was out on bail for previous charges. Law enforcement officials believe that there are likely more victims and are urging anyone affected to come forward as the investigation continues. Authorities are committed to expanding their inquiries to ensure justice for all victims. Picture courtesy of Workpoint. -- 2024-09-29 -

Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
I'm not a victim of western marriage laws. The woman I was married to left me for someone else. I petitioned the court, in California, for an annulment of the marriage. The judge granted the annulment! I also married a woman from Thailand. As opposed to another's comment about Thai's being a drudge that can be bullied and controlled, my wife is a self motivated hard working individual, that will not be bullied, asks for advice but does what she decides to do, and does not take poo from anyone. She now owns and runs a business that has a gross income of over $1,200,000.00 USD a year. We have been married for more than 30 years. -

He only has to stop sending munitions to do that. They don't have enough now, and even less is THE END. I can't see the Euros making up the shortfall. -
