What ever and off course you know this better then me.

Eh? I didn't realise it was a matter of 'nah-nah-nah-nah-nah'.

Quite simple.

The guy holds Swedish citizenship

One cannot obtain political asylum for a murder . . .

One cannot obtain political asylum in one's own country

Extradition can be requested even in the absence of an extradition treaty

His brother (or friend) posting on flashback.org, trying to help Jonis out of Thailand.

Hello!
A friend has gotten into trouble in Thailand .. an accident where he now risks a prison sentence (it's always the foreigner's fault down there). His passport is confiscated and blacklisted in the entire country. How is the best way to get out? Any tips? Relevant answers are appreciated.
Cheers!

As a buddy, you can of course give him your passport, after he fled the country, contact the embassy and say that you 'lost' yours. Right?
