Bridge Collapse In Ayutthaya Province - Any News?

I'm getting text messages about a bridge collapse (200 year bridge) in Tha Ruea with an unspecified number of people dead/injured. However, searching the English language and Thai language news doesn't produce any results. Does anyone have any hard information?

Thanks.

Thai script removed. This is the English language side of the forum.

Both the major English language newspapers now have the story (although they didn't have it yet when you posted).

5 dead in Ayutthaya bridge collapse

April 28, 2013 8:30 pm

A suspension bridge over Pa Sak River in Ayutthaya collapsed Sunday evening, crushing five people to death underneath a pillar on one side, while wounding 15 others.

The collapse also sent a large number of pedestrians and motorcyclists into the water, but there were no casualties. The Bicentenary Bridge, 20 metres above the water, has been regularly used. The bridge is believed to have collapsed after the slings broke.
