Reading some of the posts on TVF a more apt name would be the " I'm On Lithium And My Prescriptions Run Out" forum. biggrin.png

I've not heard this one before ...

What does the statement "I'm On Lithium And My Prescriptions Run Out" mean?

I'm always up for learning something new.

and I would bet that the grumpiest thai bashers when they go back to their homeland spend most of their time singing the praises of what a wonderful place Thailand truly is......but put them In a forum with other expat thai residents and it turns into a whine party.....

I'll need photographic evidence of that, Sheryl :D

In any case, I was actually referring to the TVers who, despite having been born with testicles, seem to have morphed into old women ...

cpofc....yesterday ended up with the funniest laugh i have had for ages. If only you could have seen the reply to a post on another topic last night. Unfortunately it's been removed along with associated replys....guess he hit the report button, and didnt see the funny side of it. What a shame, if it had of carried on, i am sure it would have taken the grumpy out of some, as it did for me.

More of what is needed I think......

I am quickly turning into a grumpy old man, but I still love living in Thailand. The young whippersnappers are so polite when I am berating them.

Thanks for that ... thumbsup.gif

Should anyone be wondering from above ...

Lithium carbonate, in ionic or salt form, is commonly used as a psychiatric medication.

A number of chemical salts of lithium are used medically as mood-stabilizing drugs, primarily in the treatment of bipolar disorder, where they have a role in the treatment of depression and particularly of mania, both acutely and in the long term.

As a mood stabilizer, lithium is probably more effective in preventing mania than depression, and reduces the risk of suicide in bipolar patients.

In depression alone (unipolar disorder), lithium can be used to augment other antidepressants.

so many wingers, so many moaners and groaners , so many that have a answer to everything and anything, from winging about theres too many motor bikes , price of haircuts go up in price from 80 to 90 BHT. its too hot , theres too many bars and they cant decide which one to go to of a night , too many russians , price of beer too expensive, music in discos too loud and on and on it goes. but I dont see many complaints about how cheap it actually is living in thailand compared to how expensive it is in their home country, or how affordable it is to purchase a nice and well located apartment. ( and on and on that side of things goes ), putting aside ones own possible error of judgement in a relationship , I dont really find all that much to winge and complain about. But of course each to his own way of thinking. Maybe we can make all of next month ( june ) " Winge Free Month "

then all the moderators could have a holiday smile.pngthumbsup.gif

No, I'm healthy as a horse. My parents let me play in the mud and get dirty when I was a kid. I always ate well and developed immunities to just about everything except good looking guys. They did a number on my heart a few times until I wised up.
