Marriner is an Aston Villa fan (which is why he rarely if ever refs their games) West Brom and Villa fans hate each other with a vengeance. No need for Jose to pay up on this occasion, it was a freebie!

I hate diving and have been proud of the way Stoke city play fair, but now we have signed more foreigners,i have seen a couple of naughty dives, both outfield not to earn a penalty though[/

Kicking 10 shades of sh£te out the opposition may not being diving but it is hardly fair

Don't be such a wimp Bob....all is fair when you're playing rugbywink.png

By the way, beat their kids yesterday 3:1. Amazingly, our under 18s were bigger than theirs! The times they are a-changing!

It is a strange one this is because Marriner was in a very good position to see and you have to ask the question, how on earth did he award a penalty!!

I'm equally mystified why Mourinho would back the decision up. He's not a fool and only a complete idiot would see a penalty in that, so why? Why not just say it looked a harsh decision.

Terrible by Ramires and the ref, but what's worse is a Utd and a Spurs fan bleating about it!!! Both of your teams are worse offenders that Chelsea. Oh, and surprise, surprise Carmine going on about Mourinho........yawn.

You coming on posting like a big babyyawn! Mourinho goes out of his way to unsettle other teams and managers with his, at times, rather unpleasant mind games so basically if he wants to swim in a pool of shark then he shouldn't complain if he gets bitten.

Oh yes, btw, atleast my manager had the presence of mind and the sportsmanship to condemn Townsend for his dive and make him issue a public apology. Unlike Mourinho who'd claiming it was a genuine penalty.coffee1.gif

mourinho bought referee mike halsey a holiday in the algarve. wonder what he's bought andre marriner?

that looked less a player doing a dive than outright corruption to me.

Halsey's wife was diagnosed with cancer <deleted>!! Can you twist an act of kindness any more???

"an act of kindness"? since when did mourinho become mister <deleted> philanthropy?

I reckon Mou was protecting Ramires Carmine. Plus you know he was thrilled with the penalty being given. Dropping three points two weeks in a row in the league would have galled him no end. I wonder if he'll be bitching about picking the wrong eleven again this week ? Maybe only nine, with Ramires and tardy Hazard escaping his wrath.

Then shame on him. Why defend the indefensible?

That should be two losses and then of course there was the three points gratis of Hart. Mourinho's far from the Mr Invincible of 2004 insn't he and frankly, with his squad, doing a fairly average job.

A wonderful coup by the Real Madrid PR department is a far more likely scenario. But please go on thinking he's a saint by all means.

You're unrelenting.

BTW, is Iker playing for Real?

And you are very naive

Yes, Carmine. All reports are wrong and YOU are right. Tell me, what is the meaning of life, oh wise one.

Will you please stop being such a big girls blouse. I don't like your manager or your plastic club. Its not like i'm the only one. You are possibly the most despised club in the country. Thats just the way it is. I don't like your plastic flags either. I don't like Suggs, Johnny Vaughan, Dickie darling Attenborough, russian mob money, Cashley Cole, I don't like the burgers at the bridge, i don't like your away kit. Get over it.

Mindyou, your captains a great bloke…..oh no, wait a minute, he's a complete bellend too.

Calm down Mjj, its just a sunday wind up...wink.png

shall we bring anders frisk and death threats into it?

If you like. I don't think Jose made any death threats did he? Or are we going to debate how Frisk is responsible for one of the worst high profile officiating in a game of football?

Ramires goes right to the top of the diving class this morning. Being cheated out of three points is bad enough, but to be cheated in the fourth minute of injury time, that hurts. Sympathies with WB.

No no Rix, apparently that gobshite Mourinho says it was a penalty and they deserved the draw!

Clearly watched a different game to the rest of us. That really was very tough on the baggies

I didn't think Ramires dived. I thought he was genuinely knocked off the ball and was as surprised as anyone when the referee gave a penalty. Not a dive and no way in hell a penalty - good shoulder charging defensive work

You are talking to the same man who could see no contradiction in Drogba supposedly being passionately in support of the poor in Africa, and then splashing out close to 1 million pounds on some tacky gold rings for him and his ex Chelsea team mates to remind themselves how great they were. Either naive or deluding himself.

Yes quite Rix and did you hear about Moutinho verbally abusing a West Brom player, Olsen, in the tunnel after the game and starting a minor brawl. What a nice chap he is!!! Not content to have robbed a win via Marriners pathetic reffing, he abuses them! I'd expect that sort of behavior from Captain Courageous but not their manager

Carmine off on a Mourinho rant again. Fails to mention that the West Brom player squared up to him to begin with.

Yes Rix, all rich people should either keep all their money for themselves or give in all away. Everything is so black and white.

sticking a finger in the eye of tito vilanova was a typically classy act from the philanthropist and all-round good guy mourinho.

Just once during one of these bust ups I'd like to see somebody throw caution to the wind and split Mourinho down the middle with a straight right. What a glorious day that would be.biggrin.png

Nobody is saying Drogba should give all his money away. Just saying that if you are going to promote yourself as some sort of Mother Teresa for the poor in Africa, don't at the same time spunk away close to a million pounds on some tacky self-congratulatory bling.

I don't think he has promoted himself as some sort of Mother Teresa has he?

Yes i think he very much has. Not as if his charity work is a discreet and private affair.
