Start with a scratch on the the head and work into it, not too hard as a detraction pause/activity during grooming.

Our dogs also like a massage, particularly back legs for our eldest dog (5 years) will stretch out on his back to ensure maximum attention.

I won't tell you what a lady (a few satang short of a 10 Baht note) in the village does for him but he lays on his back for that too and he enjoys it very much.

i am reading this with interest although i'm a bit tooooooooooo old for what that lady does but my beloved would definately love it,does she charge by the minute or the hour.
