trainman34014
I have an Indian friend who is in CM on a 30 day stamp and he wants to stay for another two weeks. Is it still the case that if he crosses the border at Maesai and comes back in he will get a further 15 days?
Mario2008
An Indian with a visa of 30 days means a tourist visa. He can try to extend it at immigration for 1,900 baht. If he simply goes over the border and returns he will get a visa on arrival, that costs 1,000 baht and requires a ticket out of Thailand within 15 days. A Visa On Arrival can also only applied for at certain border crossings, not all. But Mai Sai is allowed. Don't know about the enforcement of a ticket out at a land border. trainman34014
Thanks for the replies. Seems he is using a British Passport so no problems with getting his 15 days.
