Lost my drivng licences

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I managed to lose my 5 year car and bike licences (2 years remaining on both)

I have a police report which I got yesterday. Does anyone know what documentation I will need at the LTO? Copies of passport..... license etc? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just walk in and tell them you lost it and show them the police report and passport. You might also need proof of residence. If it hasn't changed then is should be OK. They'll let you know. They'll have you fill out a form. take you picture and you'll walk out with a new one. They renew for the remaining time. That's what they did for me. Not a really big deal because it's in the system.

Just a little tip for readers, it's always useful to take a copy of your current license for occasions such as this.
