I took a trip to Bukit Berapit, while I still could. This is one of the new stations on the Northern Double-tracking

What's missing from this picture?

attachicon.gifDSCN0807.JPG

It's probably busier now...

Is it the New Station not opened in your photo linking Taksin bridge? If so it is opened now, if not ??????????????????sad.png

No, it's the CIty Terminus of the Airport Rail Link. I went on the commuter service, which was lightly used at that time. I understand that the Airport Express was not suitable for people who didn't like travelling on their own...

Opps, sad.png

I must have been on the Wong Win Yai track then.

Thank you all for your photos, quizzes etc. and to the starter (the OP) of this great railway journey across Thailand, Dancealot, :wai:

Me, only have a few, maybe more of Kan and other places that I have taken my time out to photo them.

It is funny to see our members taking their time out not only to post their photos on this subject, but to really see what they saw. neus.gif.pagespeed.ce.ptR4K2not3.gif

Win, who else could post this smile.png

Here a little song I dedicate to you.

Phichai, area. The train keeps on chooking. Be careful not to hang out too far of the window.

Thanks, your read my thoughts, Goshawk. It never hurts to stray off-track once in awhile.

[polite re-edit] : You could have assumed this shot was taken from a train.... I still trust you get the picture, Goshawkthumbsup.gif.

taken from a train... a bike.. a car... on foot.. a ladder... a buffalo.... could've been any of those & more, but thanks for highlighting it's origin (maybe better suited to 'water scenes' though?) wink.png

Back on track

that's better... this one i can at least recognise the subject. thumbsup.gif

Twice, Goshawk. On my own thread, me and fellow members have put a lot of effort into... I expected your trained eye should be able to notice the slightest of difference..

Nevertheless, I feel I have to explain to you why I am here.

Socialising is a significant part. More importantly, I have chosen this place and it's people because I like them and I can learn from them. This includes you.

As a show of good faith and fellowship I will highlight the train-repair crew.

yes you have...and i enjoy viewing your daily deluge of limitless snapshots, just try not to get ruffled by an honest opinion that's all. rolleyes.gif

keep snapping... the TV Photo thread wouldn't be the same without you... wink.png

What a "Oh my Gosh" member you are, first attacking me on my challenge and now on this thread also attacking learn-a-lot for no reason. blink.png

So "Oh my Gosh" what is the problem with you and this fourm? sad.png

Do we snap-a-lot and post-a-lot, post new threads that you do-not-like-a-lot or what? facepalm.gif

It's ok, people. I don't like to see things go to waste, though. Epecially not constructive critique.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but yesterday, they did the steam train run to Ayutthaya , in celebration of Chulalongkorn day.
