CAT WiFi - how much?

Featured Replies

I live in the boonies of Northern Thailand and CAT (or True) 3G is the only internet service which is available to us. Is this what you are referring to? If not, my answer will be irrelevant.

We pay 623B pm for the CAT basic level service (599B plus tax). True use the CAT towers and offer apparently the same service at a slightly higher price.

There are higher level plans if you want.

CAT have a leaflet outlining all this - available at their offices. It is mainly in Thai but there is enough English to figure out what it says.

To access the service you need to buy a USB Aircard (slightly over 1000B) but the SIM card is free from the ISP.

You didn't ask about quality, so I won't bore you with my complaints.

I would be interested,

a comrade of mine in the next Amphur city in Udon Thani province uses TOT special king of WIFI? with a small antenna and a rooter needed, price, same you mentioned and he is satisfied, meant, no limits from volume downloaded and always fast.

I use now TRUE move air card, but that is limited in speed when you exceed 5 GB - 900.- Baht and more costs much more money.

I think from changing he provider to TOT. There was a space free on the TOT offer. Any suggestions.blink.png
